By accessing and using Stellard's access control services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
Stellard provides AI-powered access control and age verification solutions, including:
- Hardware devices for document scanning and verification
- Cloud-based management dashboard and analytics
- API services for integration with existing systems
- Technical support and maintenance services
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes
You agree not to use Stellard services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt our services
- Use the service for discriminatory purposes
- Reverse engineer or copy our technology
Stellard devices include both hardware and software components:
- Hardware: You own the physical device upon purchase
- Software: Licensed to you under these terms, not sold
- Updates: We may provide software updates automatically
- Restrictions: You may not modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the software
Payment terms for Stellard services:
- Subscription Fees: CHF 25.00 per device per month
- Billing: Monthly in advance via credit card or bank transfer
- Taxes: All prices include 8.1% Swiss VAT
- Late Payment: Service may be suspended for overdue accounts
- Refunds: No refunds are provided for any services or subscriptions
Our data handling practices are governed by our Privacy Policy:
- Document processing occurs on devices and is transferred to our servers
- Personal information and document data is stored on our servers located in the United States
- Data is transferred from Switzerland to the US for processing and storage
- All data is processed under Swiss data protection laws
- You are responsible for compliance with local privacy laws
Stellard provides:
- Uptime: No uptime warranty is provided (service is in BETA)
- Support: Technical support during business hours
- Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance with advance notice
- Updates: Regular software updates and security patches
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Stellard is provided "as is" without warranties
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- You use the service at your own risk
You agree to indemnify and hold Stellard harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Violation of these terms
- Violation of applicable laws
- Infringement of third-party rights
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- By You: Cancel subscription anytime with 30 days notice
- By Us: For breach of terms or non-payment
- Effect: Access to services will cease, data may be deleted
- Survival: Certain provisions survive termination
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of St. Gallen, Switzerland. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or service notifications. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
